About Us

Jennifer Martin - Studio Owner

Jenn has been involved in many pieces of the studio over the years, most importantly as director of fundraising for our competition team. She has put plans into place which allowed for enough funds to be raised for all new team jackets, Air Force Ones for hip hop, a team end-of year-banquet, goody bags for every competition, and numerous other event and activities. Jenn comes in with many years of business and managerial experience. Her drive to keep the studio running comes from her own desire to see her daughter have a place to dance, the place she has always loved.

Teaching Staff

Kara Messinese

Kara began dancing at the age of 3 and danced through college. She competed through middle school and joined the UMaine Dance Team in college, dancing at the football and basketball games. After her daughter was born and ready for dance classes of her own, Kara got back into dancing, mostly focused on tap, lyrical, and jazz. Over the past years, she has also been an instructor in taekwondo and gymnastics, having taught kids for almost 20 years.

Brittany Starrett

Brittany loves being a part of the Dreamz in Motion team! Brittany started dancing late in her life at age fifteen at her aunt’s studio in Riverton, Utah. Once she started dancing, you couldn’t get her out of the studio! She was invited to a summer intensive for modern dance at Brigham Young University (BYU) her junior year of high school. She attended Utah Valley University for Modern Dance Education and had many opportunities to choreograph student pieces and teach summer intensives. She has ten plus years of teaching dance experience from all ages.

Olivia Liamos

Olivia has been dancing since the age of three, training at her local studio just outside her hometown in Milford, New Hampshire. Over the years, she has trained in a number of different styles, including ballet, pointe, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, jazz, musical theater, tap, and heels.

In third grade, Olivia joined her studio’s competitive team, where she participated in numerous regional competitions, conventions, and special events. Now entering her junior year at Keene State College, Olivia is double majoring in Early Childhood Development and Dance Pedagogy, with a minor in Sports and Exercise Psychology. She is also a member of the Keene State Dance Team, where she competes and performs in hip-hop and poms.

Olivia is so excited to be back with the Dreamz in Motion team for another season and can’t wait to dance with you all!

Sierra Brousseau

Sierra has been active in dance and gymnastics since the age of 3. She started competing at 9 years old and spent countless hours, traveled hundreds of miles, and received several awards in different categories. She has years of knowledge in Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Acrobatic Gymnastics, and Tumbling.

Outside of dance Sierra is the Practice Manager and Xray Tech at Clear Choice MD in Lebanon. She also spends her time working with her husband for their HVAC company, going to race tracks to support her husband in the modified division, and singing karaoke. But her favorite title of them all is “mama” to her 1 year old daughter, Aria.

Tori Potter

Miss Tori danced throughout her childhood and found a love for hip hop when she was 10 years old. She went on to participate in Varsity Dance Team in high school, toured with the Universal Dancers Association in Italy, and she choreographed hip hop for Simmons College’s competitive team as well. Miss Tori coached JV and Varsity Dance Teams at Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester, VT in 2016-2018, winning second place for hip hop in the VT state competition in 2018. Miss Tori had transitioned to a dance mom from 2018-2024, and she’s excited to be back to teaching hip hop at Dreamz in Motion!

Tammi DeFelice

Tammi earned her degree in Theatre and Dance Education, from The University of New Hampshire. She focused her studies and career on the use of dance for healthy child development. She has taught at schools all around New Hampshire, earning a reputation for her ability to teach ballet. in 1998, she founded Moriglioni Moving Dance Company and, later, Creative Movement School of Dance. Her method uses a combination of ballet, tap, and jazz to develop physically strong dancers with amazing musicality and stage presence. As a ballet teacher, she uses a blend of Cecchetti and Vaganova, while honoring the
health of the child's physical body.

In 2014, she closed her studio and decided to focus on her three homeschooled children. Since then, she has taught numerous workshops and intensives, and choreographed a variety of school musicals, but has missed being a consistent part of an individual dancer's development.

Tammi is excited to dedicate herself to helping develop a strong ballet program for the dancers at Dreamz in Motion and to have the chance to watch them grow.

Ryinn Martin

Ryinn is a dancer on our senior team and has been dancing for 13 years. She loves exploring all different types of dance. Her favorite time of the year is competition season, no matter if shes onstage or cheering her friends on from the wings.

Ryinn plans on going to college to study dance, and wants to continue teaching dance after school. Her goal is to create a positive, fun, and encouraging class for dancers to learn and grow.

Dance has always been a a creative and meaningful part of her life, and she can’t wait to share the same joy with others.

Cody Ferlow

He has been dancing for 12 years and is a lover of Freestyle Hip Hop.  Cody has no formal training but doesn't let that stop him.  During college he danced every year with the Dance Club and college Company.

He has choreographed and taught many dances over the years and looks forward to bringing his experience and upbeat attitude to Dreamz.

When he isn't dancing Cody spends his time working in the forests of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts as an Invasive Plant Specialist.

Kailyn Guyotte

Kailyn began dancing at the age of three and instantly fell in love with dance class. She danced at the Dance Factory in Springfield, VT from ages 6-18 taking various styles of dance such as; modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, and jazz. There she assistant taught multiple classes and ran the summer camps.

Additionally, Kailyn is continuing her dance education at Keene State college going into her junior  year in the Fall, majoring in dance pedagogy (with a focus of contemporary dance) and early childhood education.

Kailyn believes that dance should be a place to grow and succeed, but also a place where everyone is welcomed, and  cannot wait to see everyone in the Fall

Jessie DeRosia

Jessie is thrilled to be joining Dreamz in Motion this year and share her love of dance and movement with the Dreamz family!

Jessie has been dancing for nearly 35 years and teaching for over 20. Jessie began dancing as a toddler, starting with ballet and later expanding to jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and pointe. She also developed a passion for gymnastics in elementary school, which she enjoyed incorporating into her dance routines. By high school, she was assisting at local dance and gymnastics camps, substituting at a nearby studio, and competing with her team — ultimately becoming Vermont state champions.

As an adult, Jessie fell in love with yoga and how naturally it complements dance. Jessie taught at the Dance Factory for seven years, leading classes in hip-hop, acro, ballet, yoga, and aerial yoga. She holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Aerial yoga, and Therapeutic yoga and is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200). When she’s not dancing or practicing yoga, Jessie is usually in her garden or next-door enjoying

time with her other favorite thing — dogs.

Jamie Follett

Jamie is often the first smiling face you will see at Dreamz in Motion. She has been working at the front desk for the past couple years and continues to be there to answer questions, check-in students, and manage student accounts.

Jamie has three daughters who would be at Dreamz 24/7 if given the opportunity. They are on the Dream Team and Jamie is a proud supporter of her girls!

Jess Shepa

Jess rediscovered her love of dance after her daughter started dance 5 years ago.  Her day job is teaching Food and Conservation Science at Riverside Middle School, but she’d be taking (or substitute teaching) classes at the studio all the time if she could! You may also see her at the front desk helping out.  While tap is her favorite discipline to practice, you will find her in every adult class that is offered!

Jess is a proud mom in a family of five. She works at Cornish Elementary School and is a dedicated dance mom. She loves being surrounded by kids, helping others, and cheering on the people she cares about most. When she's not at school or in a dance studio, Jess is usually spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying all the little moments that make life special.
